Italian Red sauce for Pizza and Pasta

This Italian sauce is mandatory while making any Italian savory. Be it bruschetta, Pasta, or Pizza, this spread enhances the bland taste of pasta or pizza. This sauce is a bit sweet but tangy, garlicky, full of flavors, and of beautiful red color. This sauce tastes far better than the one we buy from stores. It requires a handful of ingredients and takes very little time to cook. #cppassport #cppitaly #sangitakalra

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash the tomatoes and pat dry. Make a cross at the top of these tomatoes, with help of a sharp knife. Put them in boiling water and boil till the skin starts separating. At this stage, immediately remove them from boiling water and dip them in the ice-cold water. This helps in stopping further cooking of tomatoes and helps in peeling off the tomatoes. Now chop these tomatoes and keep them aside. Set the pan on the gas, add in the olive oil, add garlic and onions. Saute till onions turn pink.

Check the seasoning, cool it completely, store it in an airtight jar, in the fridge and enjoy this with your Italian dishes. You can easily use this for 15 days.
