Dill Chana dal sabhzi

Dill leaves or Shaapu as we call in marathi, is a super nutritious and healthy leafy greens.
This green vegetable can be prepared in many ways and can be enjoyed with rice and rotis both.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Clean and wash the dill leaves. Then chop the leaves finely.
Soak chana dal for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, drain off the water.
Heat oil and add hing. saute onions, garlic and green chillies.
Next add salt and soaked chana dal. Mix together well and cook for 10-15 minutes or until chana dal is cooked well. Cover with a lid and keep some water on the lid so the dal can cook faster.
* Step 2
After 15 minutes, check if dal is cooked and add turmeric powder and the chopped dill leaves.
Now mix together well and serve hot with rotis
