Orecchiette pasta with sweet sausage and broccoli

Orecchiette pasta with sweet sausage and broccoli

Quick pasta dinner with ingredients from the freezer

Ingredient

broccoli

1 clove

garlic

2 tsp

olive oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil orecchiette for 10 minutes in lightly salted water and save some of the water.

* Step 2

In the meantime pour olive oil in a pan, large enough to accommodate the pasta, and cook the garlic, sausage and broccoli for a couple of minutes until the sausage is fully cooked and the broccoli still has some firmness.

* Step 3

Add the coked pasta and stir for an extra minute or two, while adding small amounts of the pasta water if too dry.

* Step 4

Serve and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper (optional).
