Mini Powdered Sugar Donuts

Mini Powdered Sugar Donuts

Ingredient

1 cup (125 g)

all-purpose flour

1 tsp (6 g)

baking powder

1/4 tsp (1 g)

baking soda

1/4 tsp (1 g)

salt

1/3 cup (73 g)

light brown sugar

1/4 cup (57 g)

milk

1/4 cup (57 g)

sour cream

1 1/2 tsp

vanilla extract

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

* Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Set aside.

In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the egg, brown sugar, milk and sour cream until smooth. Whisk in the melted butter and vanilla until fully combined. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not over-mix.

Pour batter into a piping bag. Pipe batter into donut pan to about 1/2 full.

Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes, until edges just begin to brown. Cool in pan for 2 minutes before transferring to wire rack.

Top with confectioners sugar while the donuts are still warm. Dust with a sifter or toss in a bag with confectioners sugar.
