Basundi Puri

#FM #W1 For Durga Pooja we always make this delicious recipe.

Ingredient

Food ration :

serves 4 servin

Cooking time :

50 minutes.
1 1/2 litre

milk

1 tsp

sugar

6,7 strands

saffron

2 tbsp

raisins

2 cups

wheat flour

2 tbsp

semolina

1 tsp

Salt

as required

Oil for frying

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In big bowl, add wheat flour,all-purpose flour,sugar,salt and moyan.

* Step 2

Mix well and gradually add water to form hard dough. Keep aside for 20 minutes.

* Step 3

In a thick bottom vessel add full cream milk. Reduce the milk to 3/4 litre on low flame. Stir continuously.

Now add chopped dry fruits and sugar.mix well, add cardamom powder. Take some milk and add to saffron strands. Add it to basundi.

Now in kadai add oil. Divide the dough in small balls. Roll out Puri. Deep fry it.

* Step 6

Now take out basundi in a serving bowl. Spread rose petals on it. serve hot with puri.
