Crispy fry podi idli

#toc1 #kid's special This one is my son's favourite recipe which he can eat 24*7. Easy and tasty Thank you Jayashree Harish Nair mein'am for sharing this.

Ingredient

Food ration :

serves 2 servin

Cooking time :

25 minutes
1/2 tsp

asafoetida

1 tbsp

salt

1 tbsp

oil

1 tsp

butter

as required

Curry leaves

1 tbsp

lemon juice

1/2 tbsp

pepper powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take 8to 10 leftover idlis.divide it in four pieces.

* Step 2

Heat Pan add oil, butter.once hot add cumin seeds and mustard seeds let it splutter.

* Step 3

Add chopped cashews,curry leaves, asefoetida, turmeric powder and pepper powder.mix well now slow the flame,add red chilli powder and podi chutney

* Step 4

Mix well and immediately add idli pieces.add salt and lemon juice.mix well and on low heat cook till it become crispy.

* Step 5

Serve hot with tomato sauce and podi chutney.do try this.tastes yum and becomes very crispy.here you can add green chillies also.it can be best option for tiffin also as it does not need chutney.
