اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎ Today I'm sharing with you guys the recipe of butter sponge cake. Best sponge for fondant cake.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180c. Grease and line 3 pounds cake mold.

* Step 2

Melt butter on low heat and let it cool.

* Step 3

Beat egg whites until soft peaks.

* Step 4

In another bowl, combine yolks and powder sugar for about 5 minutes or until you reach an almost white and light cream.

* Step 5

Slowly add the butter to your yolks, beating on low then Add a few egg whites and mix.

* Step 6

Mix plain flour with the baking powder. Alternate sifting flour mixture with remaining egg whites, and fold very gently in between, so that you don’t lose all the air from the egg whites.

* Step 7

Carefully, pour it into prepared cake mold. Bake it for 25 minutes or until golden brown and a knife inserted into the cake comes out clean.

* Step 8

After taking it out of the oven let it sit for 5 minutes and unmold.

* Step 9

Needed, release it from the pan with help of a knife.Let it cool completely.Decorate as you like.
