Classic Candied Sweet Potatoes for Thanksgiving
A candied sweet potato recipe that is a favorite of ours for Thanksgiving! With all my recipes, I experiment with them until they are easy to make, have natural ingredients, and are tasty. I believe I’ve nailed the trifecta with this recipe. Tell me what you think. #KeepRecipesAlive

Cooking instructions
* Step 2
Bring large pot of water to boil
* Step 3
Cut the sweet potatoes in wedges
* Step 4
Grease 9 x 13” baking dish
* Step 5
Boil sweet potatoes until slightly under done, about 15 minutes
* Step 6
While potatoes are cooling, combine 2 cups marshmallows, margarine, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large sauce pan over medium heat; cook, stirring occasionally, until marshmallows are melted
* Step 7
Drain and peel sweet potatoes, when cool enough to handle
* Step 8
Stir potatoes into marshmallow sauce, mashing about half of the potatoes and breaking the other half into bite-sized chunks. Transfer into the prepared baking dish.
* Step 9
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes
* Step 10
Sprinkle remaining one cup marshmallows, evenly over top and continue to bake until marshmallows are slightly toasted in golden brown, about five minutes.
