Garlic Mushrooms

I just love garlic with mushrooms of any kind, and I needed a side to go with a steak for Valentine's. This fits the bill, or can be put on toast (brioche especially) for breakfast, supper or just a snack.

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

15 mins
400 grams

white mushrooms

2 tbsp

butter

2 clove

garlic

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wipe mushrooms, then cut any larger ones into halves or even quarters.

* Step 2

Crush garlic cloves (easy with a sprinkle of sea salt on top)

* Step 3

Melt butter in a large saute pan.

* Step 4

Add mushrooms and garlic and sizzle on a medium heat for 8- 10 mins, until turning brown but not yet yeilding all their mushroomy juices.

* Step 5

Add the creme fraiche and season with a little more salt and some freshly ground black pepper.

* Step 6

Warm through until the creme fraiche is bubbling hot.

* Step 7

Serve either as a side/sauce or on buttered toast :)
