Momma's Passionfruit Whipped Cream (Frosting)
So good on my freakishly easy pineapple cake
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
cut the passionfruits open and clean the inside out
* Step 3
strain seed pieces out and put the remaining juice into a small saucepan with the sugar
* Step 4
reduce until you get as much liquid out as possible without burning, use low heat and pay attention
* Step 5
put the pint of heavy whipping cream into mixing bowl
* Step 6
whip the cream while slowly adding the WARM passionfruit sugar reduction, once all the sauce has been added continue whipping until peaks form, careful not to make sweet passionfruit butter.
