How to: Tomato Sauce (from scratch)
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cut the stems off, and halve the tomatoes.
* Step 2
Place into a pot. Add about a cup of water. Cook on medium heat for about thirty minutes. You'll notice the water is removed from the tomatoes.
* Step 5
This is a tomato sauce you can use in a hurry.
* Step 6
I strain mine. Use a metal sieve and spoon. (See the skin and seeds removed)
* Step 7
Store: Freeze it. Can it. Use it.
