Almond crusted tilapia

Almond crusted tilapia

Pairs nicely with roasted brussel sprouts and a wild rice

Ingredient

Food ration :

2-3 servings
4 (6 oz)

tilapia filets

1 teaspoon

lemon pepper

1 teaspoon

garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon

cayenne

1 tablespoon

chopped fresh dill

1/4 cup

flour

3 tablespoon

butter

1 tablespoon

olive oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Beat eggs with lemon pepper, garlic powder, cayenne, and stir in dill

* Step 2

In a separate shallow dish combine almonds and grated parmesan

* Step 3

Dust tilapia with flour, shake off excess. Dip filets in egg mix, then press into almond mixture

* Step 4

Heat butter and olive oil to medium high heat and place crusted filets in cooking 2-3 minutes each side until golden brown

* Step 5

Transfer cooked filets to warm serving dish, season with salt. Dress with shaved parmesan, chopped dill and servevwith lemon wedges
