Cooking instructions

* Step 1

The day before serving: cut slits in prime rib and insert garlic slices into them.

* Step 2

Rub the entire prime rib with Norton’s.

* Step 3

Wrap in foil and put in the refrigerator.

* Step 4

The day it’s to be served: put the meat on broiling pan, fat side up.

* Step 5

Let meat sit out at room temp for 1 hour before next step.

* Step 6

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

* Step 7

Cook uncovered for 1 hour. Then turn off oven but leave the door shut.

* Step 8

30-40 minutes before serving, turn oven to 375 degrees.
