Breakfast Scrambler

This recipe was inspired by the Amish Scrambler...the difference is Amish Scramblers are cooked like a patty form and without bell peppers and onions. This recipe you mix all ingredients together and scramble it over medium heat...

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat stove top to medium-high heat

* Step 2

In a cast iron skillet, Add two to three tablespoons of unsalted butter and melted.

* Step 3

Peel and slice red potatoes and add to the skillet; fry for 20 to 25 minutes, or to desired doneness.

* Step 4

While cooking potatoes; dice all vegetables and meat.

* Step 5

Cooked the meat in olive oil, garlic powder, and onion powder for 3 minutes; set aside.

* Step 6

In a medium bowl, beat together eggs and milk; now, add all ingredients to the egg mixture and blend together.

* Step 7

In the cast iron skillet with the potatoes in it; (might need to add more butter)

* Step 8

Chop up potatoes into bit size pieces, then add the egg mixture to the potatoes and scramble until desired doneness.

* Step 9

Remove and serve with toast and fruit.
