Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Trim the tough ends off the string beans. Wash them and pat them thoroughly dry with a kitchen towel to get rid of any water.
* Step 2
Heat 1 cup of oil in a wok over medium high heat, and deep fry the green beans into 2 bathes. They are done once they appear wrinkled. Use a strainer to remove the green beans from the wok and set aside.
* Step 3
Once all the green beans are deep fried, turn off the heat. Scoop the oil out of the wok, except for 1 tbsp. Turn the heat down to low and add in garlic and ginger. Stir fry for about 1 minutes until fragrant.
* Step 4
Next, add in the minced pork, turn up the heat to high, and stir fry quickly to break up the pork and brown the meat slightly.
* Step 5
Add in the fried green beans, chinese cooking wine, soy sauce, oyster sauce, kecap manis and sugar. Toss everything well. Add the sliced spring onion and mix it together
* Step 6
Stir fry everything over high heat until any excess liquid has cooked off.
Put on the plate and pour fried onion for garnish
Serve with steamed jasmine rice.
