Jam Crumb Cake

I always love my own jam whatever the fruits is in season. Sometimes I made so much jam.. so I bake a cake with it. 😜😜

Ingredient

Food ration :

Serves 6 servings

Cooking time :

55 minutes
1/2 cup

sugar

1 3/4 tsp

baking powder

1/8 tsp

salt

1/2 c

milk

3/4 tsp

cinnamon

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat the oven 200 degrees C. Line and grease a 9 inch cake pan.

* Step 2

Make the cake batter first.

* Step 3

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and set aside. Beat together the butter, milk, and egg in a large bowl, then gradually mix in a flour mixture until just combined.

* Step 4

Pour the batter into the pan. Dollop spoonfuls of the jan all over the cake surface then swirl into batter with a fork.

* Step 5

Crumb topping.

* Step 6

Combine butter, sugar, cinnamon and salt until smooth.

* Step 7

Stir in the flour, then blend with your fingertips or fork until incorporated and crumb have formed.

* Step 8

Sprinkle the crumbs in the large clumps over top of the cake.

* Step 9

Bake the cake for 25 minutes.

* Step 10

Allow the cake to cool completely before removing from the pan.

* Step 11

Dust with powdered sugar
