My low carb/keto turkey lasagne
Using ground turkey and homemade sauce with slices of courgette as the pasta sheets, makes for a superb mid week dinner #keto #lowcarb #lasagne #turkey

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Melt oil in pan brown turkey mince
* Step 2
Add oregano, basil,italian seasoning, garlic,tomato puree, balsamic vinegar,salt and pepper stir in well
* Step 3
Add veg saute for 5 minutes then add passata and water(I refill the passata container to get all of it out)cook until reduced and thickened
* Step 4
For white sauce melt butter in another pan,then add almond flour stirring constantly for 2 mins on medium heat
* Step 5
Add milk and whisk until smooth,then add cream cheese and stir well, season with salt and pepper allow to cool
* Step 6
In place of pasta/lasagne sheets slice courgette into long strips and place on a tray lightly sprinkle with salt and allow to sit for 10 minutes this removes excess moisture from the courgette
* Step 8
Now assemble the lasagne.
I put meat layer first, then courgette,then white sauce and sprinkle of grated mozzarella
* Step 9
Repeat this step finishing with some slices of mozzarella or grated either will do sprinkle with parsley and bake covered at 180°c for 30 minutes
* Step 10
Then uncovered until golden brown, remove and allow to cool slightly before slicing....and enjoy

This recipe is great for meal prep and freezing for later
