Vietnamese Egg Coffee

Eggs in coffee?? Sounds strange, but this coffee is exotic. This is apt for folks addicted to strong coffee. Traditionally made with strong Vietnamese coffee, this recipe can be made using any of your favourite instant coffee too

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 servings

Cooking time :

12 mins
1 teaspoon

vanilla essence

2 tablespoon

coffee

1.5 cups

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Brew the coffee by combining it with water over medium-Low heat

* Step 2

Transfer in glasses/cups when the liquor is ready(dividing equally in 2 glasses)

* Step 3

Keep the glass in a bowl of hot water carefully, so the coffee remains hot until served

* Step 4

In a bowl separate egg yolks from the whites

Now add the condensed milk and vanilla to the yolks

Use an electric beater(preferably) to beat/whisk until thick and frothy

* Step 7

Now transfer the beaten eggs to the coffee resting

* Step 8

Sprinkle some cocoa powder on top(optional)

* Step 9

Serve hot. enjoy!!

My tip: The sweetened condensed milk makes up for the sugar and milk that is usually added to any coffee, so make sure your coffee liquor is brewed strong
