Chicken McPuff

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For the dough, mixxthe dry ingredients in abo and gradually add the water to knead a stiff dough

* Step 2

Keep aside covered for 15 minutes

* Step 3

Meanwhile heat oil in a non stick pan for the stuffing

* Step 4

Add onion,cabbage,carrots,corn and sauté for 2-3 minutes on medium heat

* Step 5

Add the spinach. Mix well and sauté on Low heat till the leaves wilt

* Step 6

Then add the minced chicken, oregano,salt,pepper,chilli flakes and combine well

* Step 7

Cook covered for 5-7 minutes covered til all the juices are well absorbed

* Step 8

Finally add the cheese and blend well. Take off heat and let cool

* Step 9

Add oil to the dough and knead it a beat to start with

* Step 10

Divide the dough in equal portions And dust some flour on the working surface

* Step 11

Roll each pieces of dough into a disc and cut a square by discarding the edges

* Step 12

Then cut the square into 4 parts,ie make a “ cross/plus” cut in between to get 4 parts

* Step 13

Brush the edges of each side with some water

* Step 14

Place a spoonful of stuffing prepared on any 2 sides

* Step 15

Cover them with the remaining 2 sides

* Step 16

Press the edges using a fork gently to seal each McPuff

* Step 17

Prepare each McPuffs the same way

* Step 18

Heat sufficient oil to deep fry The McPuffs created and dry them in batches until crisp and golden

* Step 19

Rest the fried McPuffs on a kitchen tissue

* Step 20

Alternatively you can place the prepared McPuffs on a baking tray. Brush them with a tablespoon of melted butter and bake until crisp

* Step 21

Serve the hot accompanied with ketchup or your favourite dips.
