Bhindi masala (Ladyfinger dry curry)

Bhindi masala (Ladyfinger dry curry)

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and pat dry lady finger with a paper towel and then chop it into 1 inch round pieces.

* Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped bhindi to the pan. Let is cook for 10 mins to remove sliminess. Remove the bhindi aside.

* Step 3

In the same pan add bit of oil, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for few seconds. Add chopped onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes until soft.

* Step 4

Then add the ginger and green chilli. Add chopped tomatoes cook until its soft.

* Step 5

Add coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder and salt. Mix the spices well. Add a little bit of water to prevent from burning.

* Step 6

Add the cooked bhindi to the pan cook for another 5 mins. Enjoy
