Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly, add the peeled, washed, and chopped potatoes along with the green peas in a mini steamer with some water and boil till the potatoes and green peas are cooked completely.
* Step 2
Heat mustard oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle for a few seconds. Add asafoetida. Add the chopped onions and green chilies.
* Step 3
Saute till the onions turn pink and light brown in color. Next, add the ginger garlic paste and continue to saute for two minutes or till the raw smell leaves. Add the chopped tomatoes and salt.
* Step 4
Cook until the tomatoes are soft. Add the turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, and coriander powder and saute for a few minutes or till the masala is cooked well.
* Step 5
Now add in the boiled potatoes and green peas along with the water. Mix it well and let the gravy boil. Continue cooking till the gravy becomes slightly thick and oil appears on the surface.
* Step 6
Add kitchen king masala and kasuri methi. Mix and cook for a minute. Finally, add the chopped coriander leaves and stir through before serving.
* Step 7
Delicious Potato Peas Curry is ready to serve hot. Enjoy it with parathas/flatbread.
