Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in a cooking pan. When hot, add cumin seeds and allow it to sizzle.

* Step 2

Add asafoetida.

* Step 3

Add only the onion part of the spring onions and saute well.

* Step 4

Add the green peas and let it cook for few minutes.

* Step 5

Add carrots and saute for a minute or two.

* Step 6

Add turmeric powder, maggie masala and salt and saute for few minutes.

* Step 7

Garnish it with the greens of the spring onions and stir fry for a minute.

If you want a more flavourful taste, add crushed ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves in the tadka.
