Sprouted Moong Salad

Sprouted Moong Salad

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash the moong nicely. Soak it in sufficient water for 6 to 8 hours or overnight.

* Step 2

Drain the water. Rinse in fresh water and keep in a dry and clean cloth till you see good length of the sprouts coming out.

* Step 3

Add Turmeric powder, salt and 2 tbsp of water to the sprouted moong and steam it in a steamer or rice cooker for 12 to 15 minutes or till it is cooked. Allow it to cool before making the salad.

* Step 4

To make the sprouted moong salad: Take a bowl, to it add the cooked sprouted moong, sambar onions, green chillies, lemon juice, salt and coriander leaves.

* Step 5

Sprouted moong salad is ready. Serve it.
