Kerala Style Banana Fritters

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix All-purpose Flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and water in a dish and mix it thoroughly to form a semi-thick batter.

* Step 2

Add turmeric powder to the batter to color it a bit.

* Step 3

Peel the bananas and slice them lengthwise into half and then slice each half into 3 to get the thin slice.

* Step 4

Dip the slices in the batter and coat them evenly.

* Step 5

Heat oil in a deep bottom frying pan.

* Step 6

When the oil becomes hot, put the batter coated banana slices in the hot oil and fry till golden brown. Flip them in between.

* Step 7

Remove from oil & place them on kitchen towel/paper napkins in order to drain off the excess oil.

Serve hot.
