Khaman or Khaman Dhokla is a popular traditional savoury sweet cake from Gujarati cuisine. Normally khaman dhokla is steamed for 15 minutes in a steamer with chickpea flour or besan batter.This is quick version prepared in a microwave within 2 minutes and serves as a healthy breakfast or snack with a cup of tea or coffee.Serve soft ,spongy extremely flavourful khaman with tamarind or green chutney.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Mix besan with suji. Add baking powder,ginger,green chilli paste,lemon juice,1 tbsp oil,water and salt to taste.Mix very well to get a lump free batter.Set aside covered for 10 minutes.Add Eno and mix lightly till the batter becomes light and frothy.Grease a deep microsafe bowl and pour batter in it.Sprinkle sesame seeds and microwave for 2 minutes.
* Step 2
Insert a knife or toothpick and check if it comes out clean.Boil 1 tsp sugar with 3 tbsp water and when sugar is dissolved pour this over dhokla.Heat a tadka pan with 2 tsp oil.Sprinkle mustard seeds,then curry leaves and hing.Add few slit green chillies and toss.Pour this over dhokla.Tadka can also be microwaved in a small bowl for 1 minute.Garnish with chopped coriander and grated coconut.Cut into medium sized squares and serve with tamarind or green chutney.
