Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Slice carrots,cube potatoes,chop beans and onion.Other vegetables like green peas, raw papaya etc may also be added as per choice.Marinate chicken with little salt for 10 minutes.Heat oil or clarified butter and sprinkle half crushed peppercorns and cardamoms.Add onion, all vegetables,chicken,chopped tomato,tomato puree,ginger garlic paste,bay leaf,salt and sugar to taste.Just toss all to mix.Add water.Boil /pressure cook upto 2 whistles.Release steam after 3 minutes.

* Step 2

Make a slurry of cornflour.Add it to the stew and boil.Sprinkle black pepper powder and parsley.Garnish with few broken green chillies.Serve hot this extremely flavourful and healthy chicken stew with toasted bread, roti or plain rice.
