Chicken Changezi

Chicken Changezi is a rich creamy and one of the most popular Afghan dishes.It is mainly served in dinner with tandoori roti, naan or roomali roti.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Marinate chicken with salt, lemon juice, curd and red chilli powder for an hour. Take a non stick pan and toss the marinated chicken till all moisture dries up.

* Step 2

Pour oil in a pan and fry the onion and cashew light brown.Cool and make a paste of sesame, onion and cashewnuts. Set aside.Now add ghee and add the chicken.Add ginger paste,tomato puree, salt.Toss and add the ground paste,cream,kitchen king masala and milk and cook till masala coats chicken.Add little water and cook.Add chaat masala and garam masala.Cook for sometime.Sprinkle crushed kasoori methi and chopped coriander and few slit green chillies.

* Step 3

Serve with tandoori roti,naan,roomali roti or pulao.
