Sukhdi | Gur Papdi
Sukhadi is a special sweet and so much popular in Gujarat, India. It's made of basically just 3 ingredients and into minutes. It's healthy and also good for small kids. Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Grease a small 6” tray with 1/2tsp ghee and set aside.
* Step 2
Chope jaggery into small peices.
* Step 3
Heat 1/2 cup ghee in a thick bottom/non stick pan.
* Step 4
Slowly add the flour and keep mixing to avoid lumps. Keep the flame low to avoid burning.
* Step 5
The flour should be well coated with ghee and start bubbling. If ghee is less you can add a tbsp more.
* Step 6
Now keep roasting the flour untill it's brown in colour and turns aromat.
* Step 7
Now add jaggery it in the flour mix. Make sure the flour does not burn.
* Step 8
When the jaggery melts, add cardamon and switch the flame off. Mix well.
* Step 9
Now take the mix immidietely on the greased plate and spread evenly.
* Step 10
Mark shape with sharp knife while it's still hot.
* Step 11
Cut in peices once cooled. Serve..!
