Spicy Garlic Noodle and Grilled Chicken

Spicy Garlic Noodle and Grilled Chicken

#12plates I usually make a small jar of garlic oil and store in the fridge. I use it for many thing such as fried rice, stir fry or even for dipping sauce. For this recipe, I made my own egg noodle (next time I will share how to make homemade egg noodle). If you want to use store bought noodles, buy the Chinese kind of noodles or yakisoba noodles.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

How to make Garlic Oil : heat canola oil (do not use oil that have strong taste such as olive oil) until smoky hot. Add the rest ingredients (garlic oil ingredients) into the hot oil. Stir for 2-3 second. Turn off the heat. Pour it in a clean jar. Let it cool and store in the fridge.

* Step 2

Cut the chicken into half inch thickness.

* Step 3

Mix all the seasioning for grilled chicken.

* Step 4

Marinate the chicken for 3 to 6 hours.

* Step 5

Grilled the chicken until it's cooked.

* Step 6

Boil the chilies until they get softened then grind them.

* Step 7

How to serve : boil the noodles and drain. Add some ground chili and some garlic oil in a bowl. Add the cooked noodle. Mix it well. Taste it. Add soy sauce if needed. Slice the grilled chicken and put on top of noodle. Sprinkle with green onion. Enjoy.
