GOT THIS RECIPE FROM THE JULY/AUGUST 2010 ISSUE OF FOOD NETWORK MAGAZINE. IT IS SIMPLE AND QUICK AND A CHANGE FROM THE REG OLD HOT DOG. WHO KNEW THEY WHERE SO VERSATILE?LOL!
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
HEAT OIL TO 350°F IN DEEP FRYER
HEAT OVEN AT THE SAME TIME TO 375°F
* Step 2
RUB HOT DOGS DOWN WITH CHILI POWDER
RAP IN FLOUR TORTILLA (SECURE WITH TOOTH PICK)
* Step 3
DIP WRAPPED HOT DOG IN EGG, THEN DIP IT INTO FLOUR. SHAKE OF EXCESS AND FRY IN OIL TILL GOLDEN
* Step 4
DRAIN ON PAPER TOWELS. PLACE ON COOKIE SHEET
COVER WITH CHEESE BAKE AT 375°F TILL CHEESE IS NICE AND MELTED.
* Step 5
TOP WITH TOPPINGS OF YOUR LIKING..
