Lotus root chips
I originally thought I was going to make ‘simple chips = suage’ but I changed my mind to add ‘wasabi furikake’ at the last minute and turn out to be a great hit. My husband couldn’t tell what I used😆 but he liked it a lot✌️

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cut lotus root very thinly.
* Step 2
Put lotus root, potato starch and furikake in a ziplock bag and shake them well
* Step 3
In a large pan, 1 inch vegetable oil, high heat. Wait until the oil temperature comes to 350F degrees.
* Step 4
Add lotus root 5 at a time. Lower the heat to medium to avoid burning. Turn over at 3 min. Turn the heat to high at the last 30 seconds to make them crispy.
