Cool 'n' Crunchy Cookies

Came from book called Easy Microwave Cooking for Kids by Sherry Paprocki. Saving this in case I lose the book again!

Ingredient

Food ration :

yield 24 cookie

Cooking time :

1/2 cup

sugar

2 1/2 cups

corn flakes

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a 2-quart microwavable bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup corn syrup.

* Step 2

Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Mix well.

* Step 3

Add 1 cup crunchy peanut butter. Mix well.

* Step 4

Measure 2 1/2 cups of corn flakes and put them in a large separate mixing bowl.

* Step 5

Pour the peanut butter mixture over the corn flakes.

* Step 6

Stir all ingredients together well.

* Step 7

Cover a cookie sheet with wax paper. Drop the cookies onto the cookie sheet.

* Step 8

Refrigerate the cookies for at least 2 hours or until firm. Enjoy! 😋
