Chinese Ginger & Horseradish Beef

If you use a Dijon mustard that's heavy in horseradish, like I did, it turns out like Chinese-style sauerbraten. The sauce would also make an excellent pairing for seared tuna.

Ingredient

Food ration :

6 servings
1 1/2 tbsp

Dijon Mustard

1 tbsp

Honey

1/4 cup

Soy Sauce

1/4 cup

Water

1/4 tsp

Kosher Salt

1/4 cup

Canola Oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine beef and scallions.

* Step 2

To a blender, add all remaining ingredients, except oil. Blend until smooth.

* Step 3

Combine beef and marinade thoroughly. Let marinate in refrigerator for 4-6 hours.

* Step 4

To a large skillet over high heat, add oil. When hot, add marinated beef. Stir fry for 5-7 minutes or until beef is cooked through. There will be a lot of moisture released from the meat. Cook until liquid is almost fully cooked out.
