Garlic Pizza Dough

Garlic Pizza Dough

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 large pizza
1 packet

instant yeast

2 teaspoons

salt

1 teaspoon

sugar

1.5 tablespoons

minced garlic

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Combine the flour, yeast, salt, sugar, and minced garlic.

* Step 2

Using a stand mixer with the dough attachment, add the warm water and oil while mixing. If the dough is still dry, add 1 tbsp of water. If the dough is too sticky, add 1 tbsp of flour.

* Step 3

Knead the dough in the stand mixer for at least 5 minutes.

* Step 4

Form the dough into a ball, and coat it with olive oil. Return the dough to the bowl and cover with foil. Let rise until it has doubled in size. This should take about 1-2 hours. The rising process can be done more quickly by placing the dough in a warm environment, such as an oven that was preheated to 200˚F and then turned off prior to placing the dough in and left cracked open.

* Step 5

Cooking Tips: - Bake on a pizza stone on the lower rack in a 500˚F oven for 12-15 minutes. - Add sauce, cheese, and toppings about halfway through the baking time.
