Raita

#India Raita is a Indian condiment made with yogurt,ground spices & herbs.There is a lot of variations of raita but the basic raita is made of curd/yogurt,cucumber, coriander leaves,mint leaves & cumin powder. You can eat raita with any dishes you like but it goes really well with Biriyani, Pulao & parathas. Raita is very easy to prepare, no cook dish which can also keep cool your stomach during hot summer days in India.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

10 minutes
1/2 teaspoon

roasted cumin powder

1/4 teaspoon

salt/rock salt

1/4 teaspoon

black pepper powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Dilute the yogurt little bit with cold water then in a bowl take yogurt & add grated cucumbers,chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves then incorporate everything together.

* Step 2

Now add roasted/normal cumin powder then add pepper powder & finally add the pepper powder & mix everything together.

* Step 3

Add salt & pinch of red chilli powder before you are serving it. Store it in the refrigerator & serve chilled.
