Spicy peanut-pecan butter. Super tasty and super easy to make!
I love spicy food. I've always thought a spicy peanut butter would be delicious. So I took it up a few notches by adding dark ancho chili powder, green chile powder and included pecans as well. It is absolutely my family's favorite.
We love it in banana smoothies, french toast, crackers, by the spoonful. Terrific with all kinds of jams... Especially mango jam. Easy to make. No added oils or preservatives. Just nuts, chili powder, salt and a dash of sugar!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add 8 oz of the peanuts into a food processor, making certain to reserve 1 oz for later. Next add pecans, dark chili powder and green chile powder, salt and sugar. Process for about 5 to 6 minutes or until mixture starts to become smooth. Add reserved peanuts and pulse into the mixture until you have small bits of peanut throughout. About 1 minute.
* Step 2
Store in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid. Keep refrigerated.
