Hot dog potato crisps! Simple, fast and delicious!
I love hot dogs and I love French fries. I thought why not try combining the two and get best of both. I used my air fryer, so no hassle or calories with oil. Just thinly sliced potatoes and cut slits into an all beef hot dog, topped with grated cheese and air fried for 10 minutes...THESE TURNED OUT SO DELICIOUS! Perfectly cooked hot dog with crispy on the outside and tender in the inside potatoes... Covered with cheesy goodness... What's not to love❤️

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Peel one potato and slice thinly.
* Step 2
Next,dry potatoes on a paper towel and cut in halves.
* Step 3
Take hot dogs and make 11 small cuts or slits(not all the way through) and add potato slices... About 11 slices per hot dog.
* Step 4
Place each hot dog on a small piece of parchment paper(I cut mine in circle shapes, to make it easy to get out of the air fryer and easy clean up) Add a sprinkle of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
* Step 5
Add 1 oz grated cheese per hot dog. Carefully place 2 hot dogs at a time in the air fryer.
* Step 6
Cook at 375 on air crisp for approximately 10 minutes 49 seconds (air fryer times can vary)
* Step 7
Serve on hot dog buns with your favorite sides... Like ketchup and mustard or even BBQ sauce.
