Seafoam Pear Fruit Salad
A recipe from the 50's that has survived the test of time and many generations of hungry children (and adults!)

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add 2 cups boiling water and 1 cup cold water to the jello mix.
* Step 2
Mix jello well and then chill slightly past room temperature so it thickens very slightly (30min to 1hr). Do not let harden.
* Step 3
Chop pears to bite-sized pieces and halve the cherries.
* Step 4
Cream the cream cheese and sour cream together.
* Step 5
Mix in the liquid jello, and then add the fruit and nuts (optional).
* Step 6
Chill overnight and serve.
