Roasted Mushrooms with Garlic and Thyme

I was looking for a fairly easy recipe to make for an appetiser, eventually I settled on this one which I found on www.cakescottage.com.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 400f/200c/gas mark 6.

* Step 2

Over a medium heat, lightly fry the mushrooms in 2 tbsp of oil.

Arrange the mushrooms in an ovenproof dish with the stalks facing up, with no overlapping.

* Step 4

In a small bowl mix together the butter, garlic, thyme, lemon juice and seasoning.

* Step 5

Spoon a little garlic butter onto each mushroom.
Image step 5

* Step 6

Lightly press the breadcrumbs on top of each mushroom.

* Step 7

Transfer to the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
