Peanut Brittle

My husband loves this as a treat and it is something he can have as it is gluten, wheat, corn and dairy free.

Ingredient

Food ration :

10 minutes
100 grams

caster sugar

50 grams

peanuts

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Place baking paper on a baking tray

* Step 2

Add the caster sugar to a pan and slowly melt. It will clump together as melting and then go a cloudy colour and then golden brown

* Step 3

Once melted add the peanuts to the pan and mix together

* Step 4

Once mixed tip out onto the baking paper and spread out. (Caution as the sugar will be hot)

* Step 5

Leave to cool until set

* Step 6

Break into pieces and enjoy.
