1 pound
package ground turkey
5 cloves
garlic, minced
1 (8 ounce)
can tomato sauce
1/8 teaspoon
black pepper
1 tablespoon
Italian seasoning
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat olive oil in a pan......
* Step 2
Place ground turkey in pan and sautΓ© until lightly browned......
* Step 3
Next add chopped onion and garlic to ground turkey, sautΓ© a few minutes more......
* Step 4
Now add the can of tomato sauce, black pepper and Italian seasoning....Stir well......
* Step 5
Take your zucchini, cut off stems from the tops and bottoms and slice them in half......
* Step 6
Scoop out center of zucchini with a spoon and place zucchini meat into pan with ground turkey......sautΓ© for several more minutes, then remove mixture from heat......
* Step 7
Place hollowed out zucchini in a baking pan that has been sprayed with olive oil cooking spray.......
* Step 8
Now place several spoons of ground turkey meat into hollowed out zucchini, repeat until zucchini are fully covered with turkey mixture......place any remaining turkey mixture loosely over zucchini boats.....
* Step 9
Sprinkle your shredded mozzarella cheese all over zucchini boats....
* Step 10
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is fully melted.....
* Step 11
Serve and enjoy π!
