Khubani ka meetha

#sweettooth Hyderabad's special traditional sweet which is made of dried apricot and served with fresh cream or whipp cream very delicious to eat.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take dried apricot which is called zardalu and soak overnight in water. Next day you can see apricot has become soft and fluffy remove the water you can see u will get golden colour water keep it separate and remove seeds from apricot.

* Step 2

Now break the kernels you will find nut inside like almonds break all the kernels and keep aside.Next take a pan and add some water from the soaked apricot which we kept in side and add apricot and keep in low flame to get apricot cooked for atleast 20 to 25 minutes.

* Step 3

In between you can see the apricot changing colour and getting brown if you find water is getting soaked add the remaining water and cook apricot till becomes so soft that you can smash easily with the spatula after you find almost apricot has cooked add sugar as per how much sweet you want and mix well.

* Step 4

Next take fresh cream and beat for a while to bring creamy texture and check sugar dissolved fully with the mixture.Next take serving glass or bowl in which you want to serve add fresh cream on he base and from top add the khubani and garnish it with the almond nuts we separated from khubani and serve it hot or keep in fridge to get chill and serve this delicious khubani ka meetha.
