water

1/4 teaspoon

Turmeric

2-4 tbsp

cream

3 tbsp

butter

1/2 teaspoon

coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon

cumin powder

1/4 teaspoon

Fennel Powder

1 teaspoon

Kasuri Methi

1/2 teaspoon

Garam Masala

to taste

Salt

1/2 teaspoon

sugar

1 teaspoon

oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat 1/2 cup water in a pan. Add tomatoes, cashews,garlic, ginger, cardamom and cloves

* Step 2

Simmer and cook until tomatoes have completely softened over low heat

* Step 3

Allow to cool completely and grind cooked tomatoes mix to smooth paste. Keep it aside

* Step 4

Heat 2 tbsp butter and oil in a pan. Add bay leaf and saute for few seconds

* Step 5

Add onions and saute until light brown

* Step 6

Add tomatoes cashew paste, green chilies,spice powders and salt. Mix well

* Step 7

Cook until mixture starts leaving sides of the pan. Add sugar and mix well

* Step 8

Add water and mix well. Bring to boil

* Step 9

Add in cubed Paneer and grated Paneer. Gently mix

* Step 10

Cook for 2 minutes. Add in crushed Kasuri Methi and mix well

* Step 11

Add 1 tbsp butter and cream. Mix well. Cook for 1 min. Switch off

* Step 12

Garnish top with coriander leaves and Ginger Julienne.

* Step 13

Serve hot with pulao or roti
