#winter Popular street food and adaptation to Chinese Manchurian gravy

Ingredient

maida

2 tbsp

corn flour

to taste

Salt

1 tbsp

soy sauce

2 tsp

oil

2 cloves

garlic

1/2 tsp

pepper

1 tbsp

vinegar

to taste

salt

cornflour

1 cup

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil water with little salt and turmeric. Add florets and boil for 1 minute. Drain excess water and keep Gobi florets aside to cool

In a large mixing bowl take maida and corn flour.

Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, salt and soy sauce.

Add water as required and make a smooth batter.

Add in boiled gobi florets and coat well

* Step 6

Drop florets in hot oil and deep fry until golden brown and crisp. Keep it aside

In a large kadai heat oil and saute garlic on high flame.

Add and saute spring onion for few minutes.

Add capsicum and saute for 2 minutes

Add all sauces, vinegar,salt and pepper. Mix well. Adjust sauces as per taste

Mix corn flour and water until lump-free in a small bowl. Add to pan and mix well

Cook until gravy starts thickening and is transclucent

Add fried cauliflower florets, mix gently making sure the sauce has coated well uniformly, cook for 1 minute

Garnish with spring onions and serve hot
