Achari Paneer Tikka on Tawa

Ingredient

1/2 teaspoon

garam Masala

1 teaspoon

Fennel powder

1/4 teaspoon

Ajwain /carom seeds

to taste

Salt

1 tablespoon

Lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric

1/4 teaspoon

Cumin powder

1 tablespoon

Ginger garlic paste

1 teaspoon

Mustard powder

1/2 teaspoon

crushed kasuri Methi

1/4 teaspoon

Methi powder

2 tbsp

Mustard oil

3-4 tbsp

Oil to roast

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take 1 cup hung curd, add 1 tbsp ginger- garlic paste, the powdered spices & 1/4 tsp kasuri methi

* Step 2

Add salt, 2 tbsp mustard oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice, mix well

* Step 3

Add 200 gms cottage cheese, 1 each of a diced onion & capsicum, mix

* Step 4

Cover & refrigerate for 1-2 hours

* Step 5

Insert the marinated mix(Paneer, Onion, Capsicum) on skewers like this

* Step 6

Heat 3-4 tbsp oil on a non-stick pan, place the skewers, drizzle some oil on top

* Step 7

Rotate & shallow fry until golden brown on all sides

* Step 8

Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup
