Sweet Potato Bhaji

Sweet Potato Bhaji

#Besan One of the perfect teatime snacks for small get together

Ingredient

Food ration :

1/2 cup

besan

2 tbsp

rice flour

1/4 teaspoon

amchur powder

to taste

Salt

1/4 teaspoon

garam masala

1/8 teaspoon

turmeric

1/8 teaspoon

Ajwain

1/2 teaspoon

red chilli powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl add all ingredients except chat masala and sweet potatoes

* Step 2

Add water as required to form smooth batter neither thick nor thin

* Step 3

Cut sweet potatoes in medium sized roundels kept immersed in water to prevent discoloration

* Step 4

Dip sweet potato in batter. Coat on both sides

* Step 5

Drop in hot oil, fry until golden brown over medium heat. Do not overcrowd the pan. Fry in batches

* Step 6

Allow excess oil to be absorbed by Kitchen towel. Sprinkle chat masala on top

* Step 7

Serve hot with sauce or chutney
