Malabar Mutta Paledda

#wraps One of the popular Malabar snack from Kerala, loved by all, specially kids. It's simple to cook and delicious in taste

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings

Cooking time :

10 minutes
1 cup

flour

1 &1/4 cup

grated coconut

1 tbsp

ghee

1/8 teaspoon

cardamom

1

egg

2 cup

water

1 teaspoon

sugar

to taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Melt ghee in a pan, add cashews and fry until golden brown

Add coconut and fry for 2 minutes. Do not roast it

Add jaggery syrup and cardamom. Mix well

* Step 4

Saute for 3-4 minutes. Switch off. Allow to cool slightly

* Step 5

In a bowl, add sugar flour, salt and egg

Add water and whisk well to form pouring consistency batter

* Step 7

Heat non stick pan. Pour batter thin. Cover and cook. Do not flip

* Step 8

Do until batter is completed

Add stuffing to crepe leaving gap at edges

Tightly roll crepe. Serve hot
