Mini corn dogs

Mini corn dogs

(Old recipe, macros not counted)

Ingredient

1/4 teaspoon

salt

1/8 teaspoon

black pepper

1/4 cup

white sugar

4 teaspoons

baking powder

1

egg

1 cup

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl mix cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, sugar, and baking powder

* Step 2

Add your milk and eggs and stir very well - make sure the batter is thick and mixed all together

* Step 3

Preheat your oil in a pot, ideally deep one for deep frying

* Step 4

Method one for frying: cover hot dogs with batter then fry several at a time until lightly browned, then drain the oil in a paper towel

* Step 5

Method two: same process as method one, but you can instead put your batter into a cup and insert wooden skewers into your hot dogs (ideal if normal sized not mini), dip the hotdogs into the batter cup then fry them till lightly browned
