Pecan & Maple Syrup Porridge
I love porridge because you can have it several times a week and make it completely different each time depending on the toppings you use. I’m not feeling well today so I’ve gone for the sugary comfort of maple syrup, topped with the lovely crunch of raw nuts.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Put the oats in a bowl, pour on some milk and microwave for 3 minutes. If it’s too stodgy, add hot water or more milk and give it a good stir to loosen it up.
* Step 2
Stir in the banana, top with your nuts, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a good glug of maple syrup.
