Easy Hot Fudge Sauce
This is so much cheaper and tastier than store bought. This makes 1 pint.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Over medium heat, melt butter in saucepan.
* Step 2
Add brown sugar, cocoa powder, corn syrup, salt and heavy cream.
* Step 3
Stir and when mixture starts to bubble, reduce to a low simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
* Step 4
After 5 minutes, remove from heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla.
* Step 5
Stir until melted and smooth.
* Step 6
Cool slightly and pour into glass jar with tight fitting lid.
* Step 7
Serve warm or room temperature.
* Step 8
Reheat in microwave in 20 second intervals stirring after each one.
* Step 9
Keeps in fridge for 1 month covered tightly.
* Step 10
Notes: Can use half and half, whole milk or evaporated milk. Heavy cream makes it richer. Also can use dark or bittersweet chocolate. Enjoy!
